Our Clinical and Paramedical Esthetics programs are designed for professional estheticians as well as licensed professionals who provide skin care within the scope of their practice.
At this time there is no license provided by the state for Clinical or Medical Esthetics for estheticians. However, Concepts Institute offers training and a certificate in both of these areas. The following courses will give you the tools you need to provide treatments more confidently and effectively. Your expertise will also make you more competitive in your field and potentially allow you to command a higher salary.
You will receive a certificate at the end of each class after passing the test. If you take at least six classes that qualify as clinical esthetics courses and pass the tests with a score of at least 73%, you will receive a certificate and pin in Clinical Esthetics from the Concepts Institute of Advanced Esthetics. Once you have finished the Para Medical Esthetics course and pass the test you will receive your certificate in Para Medical Esthetics, signed by Dr. Bradley Greene, MD, from the Concepts Institute of Advanced Esthetics.
Note: Estheticians and medical professionals must practice within the scope of what their state license allows.
Your state board will dictate what you are and are not allowed to practice. The laws differ from state to state and country to country and it is your responsibility to know what you can and can’t practice within your state, county or country. Our certificate programs are a voluntary process and attests to the advanced training and knowledge that you have obtained but does not give you the right to practice.
Concepts Institute will mail your certificate to you if you reside in the United States or Canada. For students who reside outside of these areas, we will email your completion certificate to you, or you can choose to pay for mailing to your residence.
