To provide in depth knowledge of the chemistry, history, and blending of essential oils. Learn about many of the essential oils that are used in skin care today that help heal the skin, body and psyche. Understand the pharmacology and pharmakinetics of these vital extracts. This is a hands-on class. Each participant will blend and take home the formulations that they have created.

Hours: 9:30AM-6:30PM Cost: $275 Class Size: 6-8 students Required Supplies: We provide all supplies necessary. Models: Participants practice the hands-on portion on one another. If you have contra-indications to a particular treatment, please let us know prior to scheduling.

Refunds: For a full refund please call one week prior to the start of the class. Sorry, No refunds of deposit can be given for cancellation within three days and no refunds for no-shows. We reserve the right to cancel any class. In this case a full refund will be returned and the class will be rescheduled. Repeat Class: If you have taken a class and wish to have a refresher, the fee is half the original fee of the class. Please, contact us to register. Cost: Rates are subject to change. Class Size: Typical class size is 6-8 students. We like to keep our classes smaller so that everyone receives focused attention and thorough training.

Michele Phelan has been a licensed, practicing esthetician for over 30 years. She has taught esthetics at every level including; State Board, clinical/medical and CIDESCO. Michele writes the core curriculum and teaches the Clinical esthetics portion of our innovative and highly advanced program.
Michele is an International CIDESCO diplomat, CIDESCO educator and CIDESCO test examiner. She is a registered aromatherapist, one of the few registered here in the United States.
She writes on a variety of industry topics and her articles have been featured in such publications as Skin Inc., Dermascope, Les Nouvelle Esthetiques, Skin Deep and Aromatherapy newsletter She has been interviewed by CBS for her extensive knowledge of skin care. Michele owned an innovative and clinically integrative spa in San Francisco for over twenty years and still maintains a private practice. She is a contributing author of the book " The Esthetician's Guide to Outstanding Esthtetics" volume I and II and the Executive Director at Concepts Institute of Advanced Esthetics.
